Bottom Line: Nothing too complex here, it’s a fun buddy cop movie. Dax and Michael have great chemistry and seem to compliment each other perfectly. If you are a fan of the original series, you’ll find some easter eggs, a cameo here and there, but otherwise might let you down. If you resist trying to draw comparisons, you will probably have a better time.

Food Pairing: I’m sure many of you want me to say donuts. Sorry, that’s not it. Hamburgers will work well though. If you are feeling risky, try putting some chili on that burger. Maybe not if this is a date night movie…or a guys night movie for that matter.

Drink Pairing: It’s a pretty high energy movie, with lots of x games style stunts and driving. Therefore, a vodka and Red Bull is probably needed to help you match pace.
