Bottom Line: Look, it is not a bad movie by any means. The acting is good, story is fun. If you want something to watch with your kids that you will also be interested in, this is a pretty good option. Maybe watching too many violent movies is starting to have an effect, I just wish there was a little less monologuing and a little more action. Also, it is a little predictable, which is not usual for anything to do with a Holmes.

Food Pairing: What else but some bangers and mash. You’ll feel like you are running in the alleyways right alongside Enola. There are plenty of recipes to find, or, just hit up your local pub (no, not a bar). If you don’t have one, I am very, truly sorry.

Drink Pairing: Any type of ale will do. Washes the bangers down nicely and pairs well with the setting of the movie.
