The UnReel Take:

Bottom Line: In the history of trilogies, they usually lose their way by the 3rd movie. All things considered, this is still an enjoyable movie to watch, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the first and second. By now, the ducks are angsty teenagers, and the movie emphasizes this with the Ducks making oft emotional decisions, to the point where you find yourself disliking some of your old favorite characters. A new coach is also introduced, however he offers a welcome change of pace.

Food Pairing: If you want to feel like you are in the rink, heat up a large bowl of nacho cheese and get some classic round tostido chips. If you want more than a snack, make some Mac N’ Cheese with sliced hot dogs! You won’t be sorry. (This held true for all 3 movies)

Drink Pairing: For the kids, we recommend a tall glass of their preferred soda. For the adults, a delicious stout beer will pair nicely with the (perceived) chill of the ice.
