Bottom Line: We thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Even if you have never seen any of the other Thor or MCU movies, this one is great as a stand alone. Taika Waititi masterfully directs this superhero movie to create a great viewing experience. There are a lot of laughs and plenty of action.

UnReel Category: Super Action - Because superheroes. We think this movie is perfect for a family movie night, as long as the kids are old enough to understand certain concepts, as there is some death and (non gory) violence. Otherwise, the humor is fun for the whole family. By family, this could also mean your friends family.

Food Pairing: Good ol’ fashioned hamburgers and hotdogs work well with this movie. Maybe it is because there is a certain sporting aspect (you’ll see).

Drink Pairing: Parents should enjoy some meade or barley wine, pay homage to the Nordic nature and theme, and add to the overall viewing experience. Spiced apple cider will work for the kids!
