Synopsis: Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court - but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people. Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court.
As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms - and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future - and the future of a world cleaved in two.
With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas' masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.

Bottom Line: A Court of Mist and Fury, or more affectionately known as ACOMAF amongst fans, is a compelling and faster-paced addition to the series. You continue right where you left off in A Court of Thrones and Roses. This book manages to pull off a pretty decent twist, throwing out everything you thought you knew about the universe and it’s characters. Similarly, the additional characters you meet in this book are foreign yet somehow very familiar. You find yourself growing attached to them as if they were part of your real-life friend group, or maybe it’s you find yourself wishing they were part of your real-life friend group; because who wouldn’t want a group of beautiful, perfectly built, moody, and immortal faeries as friends!? It is an outstanding second entry that perfectly sets up the next chapter to the story, prompting you to want to open the next book as soon as possible.
Overall, I think you will be satisfied with the action, intrigue, and of course, the romance.
Ideal Reading Location: This book is best read on your back patio, balcony, or otherwise outside during the twilight hours of the day.
Drink Pairing: Well, considering one of the new characters you meet, the most appropriate drink would be a goblet full of fresh, warm, blood. Since most of us understandably wouldn’t be able to imbibe such a libation, try a warm glass of spiced or mulled wine.
Maybe your experience will be different!
